Consulate Review: Bagdad, Iraq
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 26, 2013
Embassy Review : My Fiance had such a great experience at the Embassy in Baghdad. The Consular who interviewed him was very nice and didn't ask a lot of stupid questions but questions of relevance. At the end of the interview he told my fiance' "I want to approve this now but I need the documents that are missing" My fiancé had some trouble getting his letter of no conviction but had the receipt that it was in the works, and even though I sent tax transcripts they wanted w-2s. Any way Long story short. The consular told him that as soon as they got our documents he would approve everything, which I think has been done because the dates have changed on the status page but not the actual status. I am guessing he should have his passport back in a couple of weeks and will be on his way here.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
