Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: Direct Consular Filing
Event Description
Review Date : August 27, 2014
Embassy Review : We arrived 515 for 630 am appointment. long lines already. at 620 the guards call all 630 appointments forward. the embassy personal check our appt papers wifes passport place in plastic bad we proceed inside. my wife gets a ticket stub with her number in the courtyard. we go inide the embassy. We watch the board for our number. first stop biometrics. done. next interview with filipino consul tells me to go pay the IV fee. speaks with my wife asks for all nso original docs. also takes I864 as well as I864A. Tell us next stop will be American Consul. wait for about an hour I guess. The American consul asks 3 questions of my wife easy questions. All easy stuff. confirms with me the financials. We both agree. He then hands my wife the domestic violence pamphlet and at this time I knew we were going home. He looks at me and smiles says I have no more questions. next up window 74 i think the guy tells us everythings good wait for the text from 2GO. Then he says with a smile don't forget to be out of the country by such and such date. I tell him noooo problem. Just looked at CEAC site says Visa Issued. FABULOUS!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
