Consulate Review: United Arab Emirates
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 7, 2013
Embassy Review : We arrived at consulate at about 7:15am and we were 3rd in line. We waited until about 8:30am outside then we were directed to go inside. We got a number as we entered and then we sat down and shortly after sitting down he got called to the window to give his papers(he gave them evidence, supporting papers, the DS forms), and I went to the window with him everytime he had to go, they did NOT tell me to sit down. After giving the forms he was directed to do finger prints and then we sat for about 10 minutes then we were called to the window again, at this time we did not know it was the interview until she asked him to raise his hand. It was a very simple process, as she asked him many questions about our co-sponsor and when we met the first time. then she said come back Tuesday and pick up your passport. Yes, 2 days later!!!! We were finished in about 30 minutes.
Very simple interview!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
