---------
My Wife and Son reached consulate at 6:30 am on Nov 26th. There was no line, all applicants were standing infarct of the consulate, at 7:00 am two officers from consulate came out and asked to form 2 lines one for immigrants and second for non-immigrants. Then the officers checked our appointment letters.

we started going for security check at 7:15 am and at 7:30 we reached at window to take token. Then they issue token and then they said to wait. At 8:00am our token was flashed on screen and we was called at window 6.
My Wife and Son went to that window and said good morning to the Indian officer. he asked for our passports and appointment letter
and then returned our original papers and said to wait for the interview with American interviewer. at 10:30am we went to window 11 where the interview starts:

1) to Son: what is your age?
2) to Wife: who is petitioning you.
3) to Wife: who many peoples attended your marriage.
4) to Wife: why your husband divorced.
5) to Wife: why you are divorced.
6) to Son: do you attend your mom's marriage.
7) to Son: what your father do.
8) to Son: how many children your father have.
9) to Son: does your mom talks to your dad.
10) to Wife: please show me the photos of your marriage.
11) to Wife: show the seven pheras.

ok, everything is alright your visa is approved but we cannot print visa on this because there is a small peal in your passport so please fix this and then send both the passports to us we will print the visa. They gave 221g White for New Passport

My Wife went to Bhopal Passport Office, they refused to reissue the passport as per them this was minor but agreed to re-laminate
the passport. they gave re-laminated passport same day back. also told if US Consulate still ask for new Passport they will issue under Tatkal but
it will take 10 days.

Nov 28th

My wife went to Mumbai Drop Box Location, now these people refused to accept it as it was not new. she explained them
and they accepted it with letter of explanation. Now Passports are with Mumbai Consulate, awaiting results.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
