Embassy Review : I had my interview yesterday at manila embassy for cr1 looks like I am approved but issued 212g form for additional document. I was bummed..I didnt see it coming..I had all the documents, brought with me 3 kilos of chat logs, had my hubby's AOS forms and tax documents plus pay stubs..The pre-screener asked basic questions I just didn't like it when she asked me the exact date when we said I love you to each other..I told her..ma'am with all honesty there was even no formal proposal...we started talking about marriage in the middle of September after meeting on FH last July..the rest of her questions were conversational like hows my salary as call center sales agent blah blah..then after that the long wait starts for my final interview. I had a Chinese American consul..after 2 hours of almost getting crossed eyes looking up at the numbers in red flashing , I went to the window assigned and I saw the consul talking with a Filipino young man staff.. they seem talking about my birth certificate..my heart was like being hammered right at the start of this part. He took my oath and told me to state my name and date of birth and then the asked why I have 2 application...I was like..huh! I applied initially for k3..are you not familiar about the process??? lol..asked me when we got married..if I have kids..if its our first time to get married ( yes both of us are first timers )..then,,asked again when we got married..( is this man trying to get different answer this time?!!haha), and then..he was murmuring about my birth certificate..asked me why I am late registered
,( I was like hmm lots of cases here in this country with late registration, it's from NSO bro..it is legal and recognized whats your problem?? of course i didn't speak what was goin on my mind about it)..he asked why registered after 22 years?? I answered straight..I was delivered by a traditional midwide and my parents were illiterate( and I respect and love my parents that raised me to be a good person I am now)..he asked..so how did u go to school..I answered ..my mother presented a baptismal certificate..he asked do u have it with you..I said NO!..he said ok..then he continued asking whats the name of my petitioner, whats his date of birth?..his job? and then leaned backward and asked another questions..he was away from the mic this time so I can't hear him well..I said I'm sorry can't hear you!! As a call center agent I learned to never answer unless you hear the statement clearly and you understood it or else you're tossed..he asked if hubby send me money..I said yes..he said how often..I said just once..and I was quick to defend it..humility aside he doesn't have to support me I have a good paying job sir ( I work with basic pay with perks and sales commission and I am a consistent top performer..my tax alone is like a basic pay of one government employee hehe to GOD be the Glory!!!!) ..he asked for our pictures which I showed more than 50 of them and then he was like ok go to window 72 for final instruction..I thought I am approved already although he didn't say it directly I read alot of posts here at VJ that this scenario happens that the consul wont tell the approval directly so I pushed my luck and asked sir if in case, could I possibly pick up my visa as I need it to be presented for my lumpsum application this is where he said..the window 72 will tell you what to do..we still need more document from you..WHAT? WAAAAA. I got a 212g form need to submit a baptismal certificate bummer!! I was instructed to go to window 70 dropped my 2go visa delivery form..so looks like I am approved too but needs to submit the last piece!! victorious but not really until visa is delivered!!!! The consul was soooo anal chinese american..I don't like him!!! but it was ok, he grilled me and tried to disappoint me( bitter ) but really sanely I think he was just trying to do his job. Be prepared speak the truth..truth is always louder!!! There's nothing to be nervous if you stick to it. Things happen for a reason. I am tough so I got a tough arbiter..I didnt cry but I have to admit I was disappointed, of course just like the rest of you here, I wanted to bring home the bacon wholey!! Thanks to all those who prayed for me..I thank my husband for loving me more everyday and I thank most Jesus for EVERYTHING..as He said " rejoice! and I say it again..REJOICE" and yes, no matter what the circumstances are ..I just hope I finish this one leg soon and have my visa and so I can hug my hubby again.. I terribly miss him much. I hope this post will help you somehow. God bless us all!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
