Comments : There was a little "mixup" in that my husband and I moved while waiting on the green card. We submitted both online and through the mail (as instructed on the USCIS page.) For whatever reason, they didn't update so the Green card was sent back!! After calling them up, they resent it to our new address! My advice to others, make sure you follow up if you move and write down your confirmation number when filling out the change of address online.

Consulate Review: Egypt
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : April 1, 2012
Embassy Review : Rezq went into the interview after waiting for four hours. The woman asked him only a few questions. How did you meet your fiance? How long did she stay here in Egypt? Why did she stay only four days? Why did you not get married here when she came instead of doing fiance visa? Why was your party smaller and not large? She then handed Rezq his passport back without visa and a piece of paper. He asks, "Where is my Visa?" She then replies, "Make sure you read this paper very carefully." Interview lasted only about 4 minutes. Rezq said the interview went well. Paper was explaining that they were still processing our Visa and were putting it under Administrative Review and to check the website provided in a week to see where our case was. Today 4/1/2012 the American Embassy called Rezq and told him, "We are done processing your Visa, you are approved. Send us your passport through DHL." So Rezq did just that! So excited!!
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
