Embassy Review : Hey

Well I had to fly down the night before on a monday night, as my interview was at 8am... Stayed at the Great Southern on George street... about a 15-20min walk to the Consulate..... I arrived at the consulate at 7:30am, there was about 5 of us waiting upstairs... they let us in just a little bit before 8am, did the appointment check with the letter you get in P4.. and then check your bags and then you leave your bags there... I then sat there with a couple of others being all nervous with quiet a few folders full of stuff compared to others with stuff all haha but oh well.. got told to go upstairs, went to another window and the lady checked my appointment and then buzzed me through a door.. i took a ticket and sat down for like 2 mins and then got called to a window to check paper work and give her the envelope and passport and stuff (i left my passport in my bag ooopse) after all the hassel of getting my passport back, i sat there and waiting about 5 mins waiting for my call.. the lady called me and then you swear under oath.. the lady explained to me she was training someone who was behind her and my interview took probably 3 times as long as she had to explain everything to him as she asked me... i got questions like have you got any criminal history? have you or your fiance been married before? any children? whos your co sponsor (get a family member as i had to get a family member to do mine as my co sponsor was a friend and she wasnt happy with that..) what does your partner do for work? do you intend to work? what do you intend to work as? have you got any money saved? how much? theres abit of an age gap between you two, has that caused any troubles between you? how did the relationship progress? has your fiancee been to australia before, have you been to america, when did you go and for how long? umm i think thats most of the questions, she didnt check any of my evidence of an ongoing relationship like my pictures or phone records and so forth so that was a waste of time for me but deff bring it to yours just incase.. and yeh i left the building at 8:45am.. was quick.. we just had to send in by email a couple more things and now its been approved! if anyone has any questions, message me, more then happy to help

Embassy Review : Arrived and went through the Visitor section first... had to wait awhile cos i arrived on a Korean airline and they kept needing translators but eventually got through, got told to go to another room where you waited to for someone to go through your paper work, didnt take long once they grabbed it and then i was on my way, pretty simple, not too scary, they were nice, they kept joking around with me cos i had a dallas cowboy hat on and one of the guys was a fan so it was good..
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
