Consulate Review: Ghana Review Topic: General Review Event Description Review Date : October 10, 2019 Embassy Review : Arrived at embassy 730a. I (petitioner) waited for husband outside embassy until 1230p. He was finally seen around 1215p. Had all documents ready(including my passport and letter explaining I was outside) but officer only asked for civil docs and pictures. Husband only answered what he was asked. He did not mention I was outside. He was asked 5 questions : 1. Ever filed for a visa to US before? 2. How did you two meet? 3. What do you do for work? 4. What does she do for work? 5. Who is facilitating your petition and trip? Husband said many who had interviews were denied. Took 10 minutes from handing over docs until verbal approval. Received official 'Issued' for visa 7 days after interview. During NVC I did upload a notarized statement from cosponsor plus 6 photos of us together in Ghana including our anniversary trip. Rating : Very Good
