Event Description

Embassy Review : interview was for 9.30 turned up at embassy at 8.30 waited in long line of people only to be told i had to go check in at front of which i was then ushered through as we were immigration visa's
waited in main hall with everyone else and waite for I numbrer to be called which was 20 mins later the lady behind window made me nervous as she had to go find my file and had problems entering my passport details and getting my fingerprints but she was really friendly. after 20 mins i was told to go sit down and await for my number to be recalled for interview
after 30 mins i was called to different window around the corner and the grilling started
Was asked who was my sponsor -my fiance
where when did we meet- years ago the again last year
when did i visit/ why not again- expense timing work commitments
what does he do for living- explained his company
asked how he got into that
asked about his previous wife
I think i was maybe grilled a bit more as he was training a new member
but after those questions he just typed something then smiled and said Congratulations your visas are approved we will send you your passports and paperwork in 5- 10 days
My child was with me and they never asked about them only that i had to take the oath for them

I've just saw that they have posted out my letter with details of time and place. Nothing on my uscis to see as yet. But looks like they take a week to send out the letters.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
