My appointment was scheduled for 9am, I arrived a few minutes early and was taken through security and told to wait till window 5 was free. I waited 2 minutes and was waved up to the window by B, who is the loveliest lady! It was good to finally put a face to the name! She ran through all my paperwork and asked a few questions about my future address in the U.S. and when do I plan on traveling. I had already booked my flights to save spending a lot on them, (luckily it all went well and I got approved) After talking with B for a while I paid the fee and then sat down and waited for my name to be called for an interview. It was really busy and I ended up waiting 2hours, luckily there was another girl my age there applying for a summer camp visa so we chatted for most of the time. Once my name was called the guy said my paperwork was very organized and asked how my fiancé and I met, I told him and that's all he asked before taking my fingerprints and making me do an oath saying my paperwork was true and correct. He then asked when I was planning to travel and that I have plenty of time and should have my visa in the mail within the week.
So everything was super easy and I only heard one guy get denied a visa for not having ties to home (he was applying for a visitor visa) so all the other people before me got approved for whatever visa they were applying for!
