Event Description

Embassy Review : We had our interview on March 28, 2016. We arrived way too early (5am) and my fiance was quick to the line at 730. My son and I waited outside for him to be done. At 9 am he returned to bring us in to the Embassy. We waited for 35 minutes before our number was called again. We went to the office at the end of the hall, and the officer wanted to know what happened with our first case. I offered my thoughts on it and she compared our paperwork and evidence. She asked to talk to me in private. After my fiance and soon left, she asked if I was okay, she said I looked very tired. I explained the 5 am arrival. She then asked if I felt safe. She asked about his hobbies, his family, our plans after his arrival, my hobbies, if he had met my family, my jobs, how the meeting between my son and my fiance went. She asked if we had Facebook, and how we communicate.
Once she was done, she checked our papers, said everything looked good and it went well. She told me we would be in AP, that it is normal, if they need anything they would call and we should hear something within 2 months.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
