Consulate Review: New Delhi, India
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : January 10, 2014
Embassy Review : The interview went smooth. I was out in 45 minutes.

There is a separate line for Immigrant visa. You go right in. and sit till you name is called.

1st call: Counter : _ _
Give your fingerprints :
Asked for photos.

2nd Call : Counter : _ _
Questions and documents asked form the lady in Counter 1:
1. PCC
2. Medical Report
3. Tax Papers-1040

a. What is my fiancee's name?
b. What is my fiancee's birthday.
c. Where and what position I work ?

I think they just want to warm up you for the interview.

3rd and the important call. Counter:
Sworn ceremony.
Question asked my VO:
1. My fiancé name?
2. How we met ?
3. Is she ever been to India ?
4. Why do I want to get marry in US ?
5. What do my parents think about me getting married to an American girl ?
7. Where and what position I worked while I was in US ?

and then the golden words: Your visa has been approved. We will notify you once it ready to collect.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
