Comments : I was an F-1 student, and then adjusted to H1B. I married my soulmate and then she petitioned for me :)

On 9/25/13 an interview notice was sent out.
Interview scheduled for 10/31/13.

On 10/31 my wife and I arrived at the Federal Plaza in NYC about 40 minutes early. We cleared security quickly and got a ticket in the interview area. In less than 10 mins our number was called and we were interviewed for about 15-20mins. The interviewer wrote I-485 pending in my passport and gave me a template letter sheet that said that a further review will be done and that we should receive a decision by mail within 60 days. He did mutter that the decision will most likely take place by the end of the day. Later that night I checked the online status and the I-130 said that the petition was approved and the I-485 said that there was a new status registered.

On Nov 4, my green card was in production.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
