Consulate Review: Guangzhou, China
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 13, 2013
Embassy Review : This is a transcript of my fiancée's interview on October 9, 2013. Appointment was at 8:45AM

she spoke chinese well.and she asked me in chinese.
we arrived in the gate of consulate at about 8:am.and saw some persons stood there already.
after we went in the hall ,i showed my passport and my son's passport and P4 and apointment confirm to them .then they gave me a number.
then they let me sit in zone A,and listen to or saw the screen .when they called my number i submitted all materials what they need.then they let me sit at ZONE B.
when they called my number again i had interview.first fingerprint.then declaration that what i submitted and what i will say are true and valid.she looked at what we submitted while she asked me questions.it seemed she enjoy talking with me about our story.
she asked me:
how did you meet?
when did you begin?
his full name?
how often did you talk on Skype?
what's his job?
does he have child? how many? how old is his child?
how many times did he come to china?
how long did he stay in china first time? where did he stay first time?
did he stay at your home first time?
she asked if you rent out houses?
did i and my son go to America before?
and she almost forgot to ask me the important question .if i am CPP?
She was satisfied at what i answwered her.
she said with smile and surprised: do you remember his son's birthday? I told her his birthdate.

they didn't take your work history and w-2
No? then what did they take?
two I-134 FORMS. and all taxes return(2009 2010 2011 2012) and 1040 form 2012 and banking statements
she also asked me: could he speak chinese? and can i speak english?
the official asked me what your Skype number, i answered her, i don't know his skype number. i just know his name appears. (signs on automatically)
after she said :you pass, i said to her: ni hen piao liang.
she was so happy and said: zai jian

Now we wait with fingers crossed, for her passport to arrive in Citic bank in her home town.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
