| Comments : | Our initial interview was on August 11th. However, our lawyer didn't fill the DS-156 correctly (eletronically, as recommended by the consulate). So, we had to go back home and have a second interview, on the 27th. And we were approved! |

| Embassy Review : | This interview was denied (the interview, not the visa) because our lawyer at the time sent us the wrong form to bring to the appointment. It caused us a big huge trouble and we needed to reschedule for as soon as possible, and thanks for the presence of my fiance at the time (now husband) we could speak to the consul. I'd strongly recommend for all the applicants to review the forms any lawyer sends (we reviewed everything but didn't have the knowledge to know this specific document was wrong). Our lawyer sent us the form DS-156, that was supposed to be filled online (so it would generate a barcode). But he didn't fill it online, so we didn't have the necessary barcode to process all our case. This caused us to need to go again to the consulate in order to be interviewed with all the documents correctly filled. |
| Rating : | Very Poor |
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
