So here goes my review.....

It was myself, my daughter (she's 5) and my father in law. We got there at 9 for our 9:30 appointment. Had to leave phones outside as no electronics are allowed inside. I checked my bag thoroughly and joined the line. We were close to front. When I finally got to the entrance..our bags were checked and for some reason my pocketbac hand sanitizer was inside on of my bag pockets. I had to exit, get rid of it and rejoin the line....ended up at the back 😑

Once we were in, our documents were checked and we were directed to the section for immigrant visas. Our numbers were then called to do fingerprints, the lady collected our original documents, copies, pictures and passport. She then asked:

Who's filing for You?
What's the relationship?
Have you ever travelled outside the country?

We then sat back down and waited for our names to be called for the interview. We ended up being the last to be called because of my little slip up with the sanitizer. When we were called....the embassy was empty 😁
We were sworn in, the CO then said to my daughter "Are you little miss (called her name)?" And she answered yes. That's all my daughter was asked. She then joked about my husband filing for all of us in one shot. She said that she is used to the wife and child going first then the parents after.

She asked my father in law:
Who's filing for You?
What's the relation?
Do you remember the day when ur son was born (not date)?
Who filed for him?
How many kids do you have?
Have you even been convicted of a crime?

To me she asked:
When did you're husband migrated to the states?
Who filed for him?
Where did you meet?
When did he become a citizen?
Have you ever been convicted of a crime?

She then asked us to sit while she finished typing up the files...once called back she told us congrats and welcome to America. I was given the pamphlet to read regarding my rights. And she joked with my daughter regarding meeting new friends

Ps. I was never asked for any documents other than the original civil docs and PC. No evidence or pictures were requested.. even tho they requested it from other persons who went before me. I'm not sure if it's because we have been married for over four years and we have a child together. Overall it was a very easy interview.. .no pressure.
