My interview was easier than I expected. I was the first person this consul interviewed that day, since I scheduled my interview at the first time in the morning. The consul was a woman. She asked the basic stuff (in spanish) like who was my petitioner, where does he live, and if we had previous marriages, and how we met. As soon as I told her how we met, she asked me if being an aupair I studied english, to which i replied yes, and then the rest of the interview was in english, which made me feel as comfortable as I felt before. She asked me some things about my aupair experience, my longest stay in the US besides being an aupair, what my fiancé does for a living, when was the last time I saw him, if I had lived in another countries besides the US and Colombia, if I had any criminal records. At the end she told me my visa was approved and she gave the a piece of paper with my rights. She said I needed to be careful when I get into the US to make sure i get admitted with the K1 visa, instead of my tourist visa, since she did not cancel it, it is still valid.

It was easy and very quick. I was confident of my relationship and love. She did not asked me to show her any of the evidence I brought with me.
