Interview went smoothly, embassy staff is really nice and helpful and the consul conducting our interview was very professional. Our appointment was scheduled for 9 AM but my fiance, my daughter and me arrived a little early, cellphones are allowed but other gadgets like tablets aren't. we were directed to a window where our documents were reviewed and we were asked a couple questions, this person kept our documents and passports and told us to go and sit in front of row number 2. About an hour and 30 minutes passed until my name was called, the audio system is not very good and the consuls have a hard time reading Spanish names and last names so you really need to pay attention. Once at the window the consul asked the following questions:
- Who is petitioning for you and your daughter?
- What does your fiance do for a living?
- Where does your fiance live?
- Have you ever been to the US?
- Have you ever been out of Colombia?
- Have you or your fiance ever been married?
- Does your fiance have any kids?
- Where and when did you meet?
- Does your fiance speak Spanish? (answer was not)
- Do you speak English? (answer was yes) Consul started talking to me in English and asked me how I learnt.
Then the consul said so you guys can communicate well... I turned to see my fiance and replied "yes most of the times" that made the consul laugh. Then the consul handed me the Domestic Violence sheet and told me "congratulations, your visas were approved".

PD: my fiance felt cheated since he was not asked any question :D
