No questions were asked. They only asked for my passport and the yellow envelope, took my picture and fingerprint, then was asked to go to another area. Again no questions were asked. They gave me back my passport and said I'm good to go!

This review is for JFK Terminal 8. Arrived around 7pm and had a hassle-free experience. Lined up on the visitor line and told the officer it was my first entry on this visa (CR-1). Got asked who was petitioning me, my address in the US and how much USD I had on me. Was then directed to secondary where a different officer asked me again for my address, confirmed everything was good on their end, stamped the visa and explained how that would serve as a temporary green card for 1 year. It took 10 minutes plus the time for the line to move. I was not asked for the vaccination records and the packet was transmitted electronically. All officers were friendly and polite and the overall experience was great.

Everything went smoothly.
I joined the non-US citizens line, the wait wasn't too long. Once I approached the booth the CBP officer asked why I was there and immediately noticed the visa on my passport. He asked for the sealed envelope and opened it.
After briefly looking at the documents he stamped my passport and put a note, he then called another officer that brought me to a bigger room.
I was ask to leave my hand baggage outside and another officer grabbed my documents and passport. She called my name and asked me if I already have a date for our wedding, if I'm aware I have 90 days to get married and where I'll be living. She gave me back my passport and wished me a good evening.

Overall it was a good experience, quite quick and with no hustle.

Entered on ESTA - Very simple. Just the "anything to declare" and "how will you be supporting yourself"
