My 72 yo mother's POE will be in Guam. There is no direct flight here in Phoenix, AZ. Her arrival airport will be in Los Angeles (LAX) but her first stop will be in Guam and therefore, first stop means that will be her POE. This will be her 2nd visit to the USA. She flew back to Manila May 2008. I would like to know if anyone here experienced positive treatment in Guam POE immiigration? How much they normally stamp and give for a visitor visa? AGain, this is her second visit. I just wanna make sure she will be treated fairly there and at least will be given 6 mos stay. I can no longer apply to extend for her stay for the second time because I already did last year. I believe this is a one time deal.
Thanks guys.

Entered the USA at the Champlain border crossing (Highway 15 in Canada; I-87 in USA). No traffic at 4:30pm on a Monday. We told the drive-thru guard about the K1. He asked a few questions about where we were going to live, and where fiancee was going to work (obviously nowhere without EAD - I think that's the answer they were looking for). He pointed us to park and go inside.
Inside we lucked out! We had the most delightful young lady border guard. We didn't wait at all - she started going through our sealed envelope, commented on how much work we put into it, fingerprinted my fiancee, filled out a few forms, and we had the visa within 30 minutes.
After crossing at this POE so many times, I know how lucky we were to have such a smooth experience. However I can safely say that it's much easier crossing here than it would be at Thousand Islands!
