Review Topic: K3 Visa

Our USCIS application was approved with no problem and our file was transferred to NVC. All seemed to be going smoothly, and we had our interview scheduled. We arrived a little early and were a little nervous.

The questions that they asked do not seem to be typical and to be candid appear to be unfair.

For example:
1) Where did I work prior to my current employer (I have worked at the same place for 13 years)
2) If he is related to my Ex-husband
3) Where I went to school prior to my last school
4) They said that they did not belive the marriage was "real" for the following reasons
a) I had no-one there (a mis-statement since I had 2 friends there)
b) We married too soon after my divorce (we planned to marry during the course of my divorce and were engaged for 6 months)
c) We did not wear "traditional" wedding clothing
d) His family members appeared to be the only ones in attend... read complete review

(This was a second interview)
Ok Guys we arrived at the embassay at 1:15 for our 1:30 appointment. I was able to goin side the embassy because I requested a second interview because the firest interview was not approved. we were told to sit on the U.S side of the embassey. However when they called my name for me to come to the window my fiancee was asked to go sit in the immigration section of the embassy. I was then sworn in and was asked the following question:

How long have you know your fiencee?
Where did you meet?
Where did you live when you traveled to jamaica?
Do either of you have any kids?
Have either of you been married?
Has he meet anyone in your family?
Who? How many times?
Have you meet any of his family?
Tell me what you know about his family?

After answering all the question the visa was approved!!! Thank YOu Lord for having favor on us!!!!!
we them went to window DH... read complete review

Review Topic: IR-2 Visa

First of all, I'm speaking on behalf of a CR-2 and IR-2 visa (My little sister and I). We had our interview appointment on October 3, 2011 at 7:30 AM. We arrived at 7:05 AM- a little late since it took 5 mins to cross the road. Anyway, there was a really long line already. No there weren't two lines but one. The lady said that this line was rather short and everyone was going to go inside regardless of their appointment time.
In the line, they told us to take out two passport size photographs, our passport and interview letter. They then signed the interview letters and ticked off our names in their list. Every 5 mins, the security allowed 5 persons to enter.
Be aware that the embassy doors are very heavy and if you hold on too long they will cut/electrocute you, slightly. How and why? I don't know. We had to pass through "airport- type" security then were allowed into the courtyard. If seats are available take a seat. If not stand in line in an orderly fashion. The se... read complete review

Review Topic: K1 Visa

Ok my appointment was at 8:30am and i arrived at 7am, by the time arrived there was already a aline of about 50 people. While im waiting in the line there are people checking to ensure all your paperwork is in order, they will ask for your ds-156, 157 & 157k in addition to the NOA2, the receipt showing you paid for your visa appointment and 2 passport style photos and the ds-230. Once they check the documents you will go in the waiting area located outside but within the gates of the embassy and then after about 15 minutes they will call you row by row and when you go inside there is a funny guy employee who will give you a number and tell you where to go. After that you will wait to be called and at this point you are sitting close enough to the windows that you can hear all the questions being asked by the embassy employees. From what i seen it seems they call your number at random and maybe this is to catch you off guard, i was fortunate to be 5th to last and had about 2 hours to li... read complete review
