on Friday the 11th of January i was Approved i got to the embassy at 7:05 for my 8 o clock interview my documents were checked by embassy personnel and was directed through the security screening area where you have to remove your belt and place documents in a bin. once security was cleared i then proceeded to a counter where i got my ticket number and a yellow piece of paper to write my passport number, name and address.I went to the interview area and waited for about 45 minutes then my name was called. i was then asked to hand in my medical, police certificate, my passport photos, and the most recent tax return. i was then asked if someone else accompanied me to the interview i said no, i was asked who filed for me and i answered, i was then finger printed and told to sit down and listen for my number or name to be called. another 45 minutes- an hour passed and i heard my name calling, i was so nervous but i took a deep breath and smiled. the consular officer an american lady wa... read complete review

Review Topic: K1 Visa

We arrived at the Embassy around 9am for a 930am appointment and was allowed in fairly quickly. There was a small line at the entrance, but got assisted right away. My fiance continued on to the check-in area as I settled down in the courtyard (near the snack bar and seats) for what I imagined was going to be a 3-5 hour wait. I chatted with the security guard and another lady who was also waiting on her fiance to finish his interview. She told me that she paid an agency to complete her application and sent in all her photos and relationship items to this agency. Her fiance came out with a blue sheet that indicated that he needed proof of ongoing relationship -- thanks to VJ I knew what to have in hand at the interview. Also because of VJ, I told her to go make the window appointment right away for a day they can return since I knew she was going to be in Jamaica for a couple more weeks. ANYWAY --Surprisingly after about 1.5 hours, who do I see exiting the doors? It was my fiance!! ... read complete review

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My husbands interview time was 7:30 a.m he arrived at 6:15 and a line had started to form. So we said a quick prayer and said our goodbyes.

He said that his first stop was to give his docs to a woman at the desk and then he was instructed to take and number and then go get finger printed.

He waited for 2 hours; then was called up by white male interviewer, he said it was went quick. He only ask for current phone records and ask 3 questions.

1. When did we meet
2. How did we meet
3. When did we decide to get married.

That's it Approved!!!

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My husband made it to the embassy about 7:45 for his 8:00 appointment. He said that he got in line and showed them his interview letter and passport and they told him to go inside and and take a number. He said that they called him up to the window to turn in medical, passport pictures and to sign his police certificate and to take his fingerprints. He said that he sat back down for almost four hours before the 30ish white guy called him up to the window. He said that the interview only lasted about 5 minutes. He said that he asked him the following questions:
Who filed for him?
How did we meet?
What is my occupation and where do I work?
He asked about my previous marriages?
He asked how many children did I have and their ages?
He asked where I lived (city/state) and who stayed with me?
He asked my husband what did he admire about me?
He asked him did he have kids?
I think that's all the questions. He told my husband that ... read complete review
