My fiance's interview was scheduled 08/15/2013 @ 9:30am. He arrived 30-40 mins late due to transportation issues and we were sure that he would not be seen and they would turn him away and he would have to re-schedule, however that was not the case.

He went through the security check, took a number, was called up to the window, provided them with the documents they requested. Took a seat and waited to be called again. He was finally called up by the IO. He stated that the IO informed him that he knew about his mother's petition that she had put in for him as well.

The only question my fiance was asked was:
"So are you going to get married?" and he stated "Yes".

My fiance then opened up the binder I sent with all the evidence they requested and the IO told him that he didn't need to see it and my fiance had nothing to worry about, he was approved. He handed him the DHL confirmation instructions, told him to register (which we already... read complete review

I arrived at the Embassy at 7:15am for my 8am appointment. My sister had an appointment of 7:30am but we both entered at the same time. We waited in line outside for about 15 minutes while they checked everyone's appointment letter (both immigrant and non-immigrant applicant)

First Stop: Security
Of course you this the US we are talking about so everything is scanned and we had to take off our belts and walk through the infamous metal detector. Once that was done we proceeded to the courtyard.

Second Stop: Courtyard
Got to the courtyard at 7:35am. This is where we played "musical chairs". Not much happened here except the sun was HOT. The musical chairs continued for about 20minutes until I was on the front row>>> finally AC room here I come.

Third stop: Check point #1
We were directed about 8:00am (give or take a few minutes) inside where we had to join a "sorting line". The bar-code for everyone was scanned and the imm... read complete review

Arrived at the embassy at 7:30 and the interview was for 8:00 a.m. Was told to join a separate line for IV which happened to be a little shorter. After joining that line someone came to us and looked at the documents and the invitation letter and mark something on the paper. About 5 minutes after that we were entering the embassy building. Upon entering was told to take off belts, shoes etc. then went through the security check. Then we were directed by the security to sit under a booth. After that we went into another building and was given numbers and they wrote down our names and had us handed us a paper to write down the passport number on. Then we went to the waiting area and waited for our numbers to be called. It was about a half of an hour before our number was called and then we went up to a window and spoke to a black man. He took all the medical info and asked a few questions, after that we were seated again. About 20 minutes later my name was called and we went to speak ... read complete review

My fiancé had his interview on Friday July 5, 3013. I organized all the documents in a binder using clear protective sheets. He went in and the interviewing officer asked him a few questions.

1. What special gift did your fiancé receive on one of her trips to Jamaica? He responded by saying our dog Shiloh .
2. He asked where is Shiloh? My fiancé answered by saying he died.
3. He asked what killed him. My fiancé responded by saying poison.
4. He asked my fiancé if I was aware that Shiloh was dead. My fiancé responded by saying yes as I am currently in the country; outside waiting for him to complete his interview.
5. He asked my fiancé to write both his and my full name which my fiancé did.
6. He asked if my fiancé had ever been outside the country, and my fiancé responded by saying no.
6. He asked my fiancé if he had ever been arrested and my fiancé responded by saying no.

He then asked to see our pic... read complete review

My husbands interview was on June 17th at 8am. We arrived at the Embassy at 7:15am and entered the citizen line, only to be told that I would not be able to enter and they do not allow anyone in the courtyard. But we are welcomed to sit under the shaded area.

He got in did his first check where he received his number and was told to wait until his name was called. He sat there until about 8:50 and was called by a younger woman for his interview. He was only asked 5 questions

When was the last time your wife was here?
When did you get married, before or after trip to her native country?
When was the last time your daughter was in Jamaica?
How old your daughter?
Have you ever been to the US?

She asked for his confirmation for DHL, and gave him the slip with the blue ticket attached and told him he was approved.
They did not ask him for any documents proving our relationship, not even my 2012 tax transcript,... read complete review
