I had a 9:30 appointment set for my interview. I arrived at the embassy approximately 8:4O am. At the Entrance they asked my name and time of the appointment then checked my passport along with the appointment letter and marked on the letter in purple ink. At the security check point i placed all my things inside a tray and proceed inside. I was directed to the section where they collected my appointment letter and passport. A lady at the window took the letter and returned my passport with a number. I was told to wait on the right side, a few seconds later my number was called to approach a different window. At this window they collected all of my DS forms, the impediment, police record, birth certificate, the photographs (4 passport size)and Affidavit of support along with the paystub, job letter etc. I was then directed to the cashier to pay the 240 us fee (at current 25,200 jmd) and return to the window. Back at the window i was directed to sign a form, before i signed the lady beh... read complete review

My husband had a 7am appointment, he arrived a little before 7 and was told to join the 7 o'clock appointment line. He said he went through the nessecary check points and after about an hour of waiting his name was called...
Questions asked:

What type of job do you plan to do when you get to the US?
How did you meet your wife?
What type of job does she do?
How often do you see her?

Does she have a child?
Boy or girl, what is the childs name, how old is the child, and describe the childs personality.
Why did she get a divorce from her childs father?
Who is the joint sponsor?

Over all my husband said everything was good and it was more like a conversation than an interveiw, oh he was only asked to show his pictures of our wedding. The CO said the wedding was very big and it seems we have a very good relationship with each others family....He did try to tr... read complete review

Fri,Sept 13th was our interview. He arrived at the embassy 30 min before his appointment which was for 9:30am.First, they took his fingerprints, next they took his documents, then he paid the visa fee, he waited about 2 hours and then was interviewed. As he far as he can remember, the officer asked him the following questions below?

How we met?
Where she lives? And does she live in a big house?
What makes you want to be with her?
What she does for a living?
If i send him money?
How we communicate with each other?

The officer also looked over our photos and phone logs and gave it back to him. And POOF, he was approved and asked if he has the DHL printout.

The following week Wed, the embassy called my fiance to come back to the embassy. The officer forgot to inform my fiance to sign a paper in front of him. SO he had to Travel back to Kingston from Mobay.

Just a suggestion for all those upcom... read complete review
