Fiance's appointment was November 15 at 9:30. A number was given upon arrival, my fiance said a man who was waiting missed when his number was called. By the time he decided to speak up was told to leave and email for a new appointment. Listen careful for your number to be called, if you hear a number called after yours say something sooner than later. Fiance was asked 2 questions, Do you know your fiancee kids? What does your fiance do on the weekends? The interviewing agent reviewed the paperwork, said did you register for DHL? My fiance said yes, she asked for the paper, since my fiance had allot of paper and could not locate it at the moment; she said ok, your visa will be ready in two weeks verified his contact number said they will call when ready for pickup. She asked do you know where to pick up, gave my fiance a paper with DHL website info.

My fiance said his experience was great, he was only asked about 8 questions

1.where do i work.
2.what do i do
3.what does he do
4.how long has he known me...which was very easy because we have known each other since high school, we just never hooked up because I had a boyfriend back then that I later marry and had 2 children with..he had a girlfriend that he had 2 children with....I knew he liked me from then but I wasn't a cheater so he had no chance until life decided to take its own path... we lived our lives in circle and ended up back together.
5. has he ever traveled outside of jamaica
6. how long he stayed
7. due to the fact that my divorce is fairly recent...was i still with my husband while we were seeing each other...of course not, there is something called separation...lol
8. who were the people in the album.

They didn't take any other evidence.....I was really worried because I recently lost my... read complete review

Wow, where to start? My fiance is not the best with details, so I'll tell you what I know for sure. His appointment wasn't until the late afternoon, his arrival was not remarkable. Got in, signed in, paid his fees and then waited a long time for his interview. His son was with him as he is accompanying his father to the US.

He said he ended up being the last person interviewed and really just wanted to get it over with. He said his interviewer was really nice; she asked general questions about our relationship, how we met, how we communicate, what we did on my visits. She did ask if my daughter (who is 5 now) ever accompanied me but my fiance explained we just couldn't afford the plane ticket for 2. She seemed satisfied.

She liked all of our proofs and had no issue until it came to my divorce paper from India. She said she could not approve his visa application at that time until they did some research to see if my divorce was really valid. Wow, talk abou... read complete review

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

My husband had his initial interview on 4/25 and he was asked a few questions about our realtionship, the CO didn't ask for pics or any other proof. He was then given a white sheet which said "petitioner interview". I scheduled a interview a week later, I attended and the case was put into AP. After 6 months of waiting we are finally approved and visa is has been issued as of yesterday.
