The interviewers were very nice and polite. They asked many questions, asked to leave the embassy to get two new passport IDs with total white backgrounds. Then more questions were asked (some repeat questions). Then the interview was over and the CO said good luck. Then a call was made and was asked to come back because the SO forgot to take fingerprints.

The interview went by fast. My fiance stated that he felt so comfortable with the man that interviewed him. He was a young man in his 30's that joked with my fiance and was very polite. He did ask several questions....does his family approve, how long we have known each other, did he have further proof of our relationship? At this point my fiance tried to supply him with more information and give him more pictures from my last visit 2 months before and he said thats good enough, he only wanted to see what he had brought to interview, he didn't need to keep it. He stated that our packet and information was very well organized and my fiance stated thats my girl (hehe i was a nut case about all the information sent but followed VJ's directions to a T) So that was it!! Next he sent him for his finger prints, took his passport and had him purchase the DHL letter for return of passport. The man said typically this takes about 2-3 weeks to proc... read complete review

 Embassy was very nice to him. He got his visa in one week. They made him feel at ease, they were joking and laughing with him. It was a young girl in her last 20s that interviewed him.

First off I will say that my review will not reflect my entire dealings with the Embassy. We had an extremely scary situation of interrogation that happened last year when we attempted to marry which could have caused us to separate due to a massive amount of lies and scare tactics they used. My rating of this dealing would be 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000!!!
Now...
As far as the K1 visa interview goes, it was smooth sailing. He went to the interview was called back timely, asked for his documents, went to DHL, came back gave the receipt, had his fingerprints taken, then called up by the Consular. He was not asked one question at all by him. He kept trying to show proof of our relationship and he said none needed everything looked great. One last attempt of showing our son's birth record and pictures the man said congratulations, you should be able to meet him soon. He told him that we would have the visa within two weeks.
