Andrew and I met in Thailand during the tsunami and stayed in touch for a year. He came and visited me while I was studying in Copenhagen... and from there we decided to do a long distance relationship when we parted. We've visited each other several times over the past 3 years, and he stayed with me in the US for about 1 1/2 years. Recently he returned to Oz for a funeral, and upon coming back to Seattle, the Customs official wouldn't let him enter the country since he only had 3 months remaining on his 2 year foreign visitors visa. We are now engaged and pulling the paperwork together for the Fiance Visa.
