Our Story
I met Zed on-line late 2007 early 2008. We were XBOX buddies, played about once a week. We became really good friends and after MONTHS and months of phone calls, emails and IM's we decided to meet. He had just quit a job, my family was coming home from a trip so we decided that it would be nice to surprize them. This was all sort of planned around taking my grandmother back to live at her house (my grandfather passed away in June and she had been living with my parents since then). I worked days so I knew for about 9 weeks he would be here with her, to help her adjust and give her time to get back in the swing of things. WELLLLLLLLLLL, we were together about 6 weeks and realized that we were BOTH everything each other had been looking for! He had a plane ticket to fly home on November 14. On October 5th he got up the courage to ask my dad if he could marry me and my dad said yes, and of course SO DID I!!!! So I accepted his proposal and we got married on November 1st, just took the plunge! Then reality sets in LOL and here we are scrambling to file with immigration, getting papers together, mailing, faxing, emailing, & calling from US to Australia, but on February 28 we finally had it all together, and sent it off. We got our first NOA's on March 8th and our first appointment is for biometrics on March 27th. So now you know our story, you are caught up and keep your fingers crossed for us as we go thru the process. I will update from time to time just to keep everyone up on how the process goes!
