My husband and I are high school sweethearts. I was studying in an exclusive school for girls and he was studying in an all-boys' school. We met in our school fair through my friend and the rest was history. In college, he went after me and enrolled in the same course and at the same university where I was studying. So we would see each other all the time and even fight often (you know how young love is). And here came the worst news of all, he had to leave because his family was migrating to the US. I really didn't like the idea of a long distance relationship. I really wanted to break up with him. But thank God he insisted that we keep the relationship going. It was really difficult especially during the first few months he was away. I was like having a withdrawal symptom from my "addiction" with him. Imagine, we were inseperable for 5 years and then that's it. I have to be all alone again. Ever since he migrated to the US, he's been coming back and forth, I guess to rekindle the relationship. And after 8 years of having an adventurous relationship with him, we decided to get married. We've been waiting to finally be together for 5 years now and I do hope that it is worth the wait. (by the way, did i mention he was my one and only and i was his one and only?)
