  1. Good day, My mom would like to petition her children (my 2 brothers) who are now above 18 years of age and are single with kids. How long is the processing time for my brothers who are single? How long is the processing time for a married son petitioned by a US citizen parent? Thank you.
  2. Good day to everyone, I would like to ask what other things I need to get done in order to bring my mother to the US. She got her visa approved and has PDOS sticker from the Philippines. Is there anything else that she will need to do to get through the airports and borders? Does she need a covid test? Thank you.
  3. Thank you for the advice. This helped me not to stressed out and overthink about these documents.
  4. We would like to follow whatever is written on the paper that the consulate have given to my mom. We thought everything that is written on there we need to provide. Main thing they told her is to make sure that all of the documents have my name and my mom's name on it to show our identity and relationship. So, we are thinking we need to provide everything what is written on piece on paper so she can qualify for a visa.
  5. Here's what it say on the paper. Please provide early-life documents- baptismal certificate or religious documents, previously issued ids and passports, photographs, baby book, school records, medical records, vaccination records, etc. This is for both me, the Petitioner and my mom.

  7. We have many documents to prove but worried of vaccination document because we do not have it and hospital doesn't have a record. No computers back in the day. Paper files might have been lost or destroyed.
  8. We have a few family pictures when i was little that we can submit but no records of vaccine for a document. Do we need to provide this?
  9. I live in the Philippines and we do not have any baby book. I am not sure how is this going to affect my parents visa application. We are stressed out.
  10. Hi everyone, my mom just finished her interview. She was asked to submit more documents as a proof that she is a legitimate person and that we are related and I am her daughter. This is due to her birth certificate was late registered. So her additional requirements to submit includes both of our previous or late IDs, baptismal certificates, school records, baby book, hospital records, etc. My question is what is a baby book? Is it a record of vaccines? What if we don't have a record of vaccine, what will be our other option to replace this document? This is the only one that we are missing out. Thank you for your help!
  11. Hi. My mom passed her medical exam last October 17 and I called the US immigration to get an interview appointment but no slots available. Saint Luke's extension clinic told her that she will need to be in the US by Jan. 13, 2023. I let the immigration know that her medical exam has expiration and that she will need to have an appointment. They only told me to keep checking on the slots online or call them. I am worried her medical exam will expire before she gets interviewed or come to the US.
  12. @nelmagriffin, they have first assigned an interview appointment but my parents had to take sputum test so their interview appointment were canceled. My mom now just passed her medical exam and I'll have to make an appointment for her interview.
  13. Hi everyone, Is it easy to book an interview appointment after passing the medical examination? How long did you wait before you got interviewed? May I ask when was your flight to US? My mom passed her medical exam and Saint Luke's extension clinic told her that she should be here in the US by Jan 13, 2023 or she will have to re take her physical examination. I am wondering if it's okay to wait for my dad's physical examination to finish and have them both take the interview appointment at the same time. My dad's immunization date is on November 16.
