We met in LA summer 05, my (now ex-)wife didn't like her, I did a lot...
I eventually divorced (Oct 05) and became a citizen (Nov 06, had the green card for 6 years) so we could marry and she could move back to LA with me.
She had to go back to Switzerland in April 06 and since then we managed to see each other every 6 weeks either in LA, in Paris (France) or Lausanne (Switzerland). The wait is soon to be over, and our life will finally resume!
