It's ok, I am thankful for your help. You helped become aware of my dual status and without the help of you and other members of this forum my journey would have been very difficult. thanks to all for reading and commenting!!!

    Dual citizen?

I followed your link and after a few clicks further down it looks like dual citizens do need to carry a Canadian passport and the passport from the other country they are a citizen of. But, there is an exception for American - Canadian citizen https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/entry-requirements-country.html Did I misread this?

    Dual citizen?

I visit family in Canada every summer and since i became a US citizen I only use my US passport. I still have a valid Canadian passport. Do You know the reason why they require dual citizen to carry both passport when they cross the border?

    Dual citizen?

I guess I am a dual citizen because i never officially filed any paperwork in Canada after receiving US citizenship.
  5. Two years ago I became a US citizen. My question is am I a dual citizen of US and Canada? The reason I'm asking is, The other day when I logged into my Bank of America online account I was presented with a pop-up that wanted me to verify some personal information. One of the things that they wanted to know was if I was a dual citizen. I did not answer the question because I'm not sure. Any help will be appreciated, thank you in advance!
