  1. Congrats on your interview date!! Usually you will be able to get your Oath Ceremony either the same day or a few days later after your interview. Just be aware, that even though you become a US citizen before you travel, you also have to apply for a passport to be able to travel to Spain. This process can take weeks, sometime months. Of course if you have a dual citizenship and already have a passport from your origin country, you may be able to travel, as long as you are exempt from needing a VISA or you do have VISA to travel. The Department Of State or USCIS will most likely not care if you knowingly bought a ticket to Spain, before you knew you were able to travel, but I am crossing my fingers for you guys, good luck!!
