Immigration Timeline & Photos

  1. The new timeline per the USCIS website is 2.5-5 months for EAD/AP approval. So you can't file an inquiry until you are after the 5 month mark. We got my husbands Combo card on Friday (NOA 1) was the end of November, but his Country of Birth is listed as "Unknown". So Friday night we were shipping his card back and now we have to friggin wait a couple more weeks. WHY THE F WOULD THEY ISSUE A CARD LIKE THAT?????
  2. I am feeling the same. Ours is November 24th. NO RFE, so sitting and scratching the walls VERY annoyed
  3. Now that is just crazy. I forget, did you also do EAD and AP? If so, you haven't heard anything on them either? Did you also do the Info pass? I'm sorry to hear about your long wait. This is asinine to put people through this stuff after already getting all the necessary clearances.
  4. I'm following for any updates. We submitted our AOS mid November. I'm disappointed that PHL is so backlogged. And also that K1 seem to get Interviewed, despite being interviewed not too long ago. What more can they dig-up/ask in under a year.
  5. This is good info. I actually hope the AOS changes to issued and the interview is waived...like most are.
  6. Thank you Andsco, Then why change the status to Ready for Interview (rhetorical question)???!! Seems really premature and gets peoples hopes up.
  7. Hoping to find guidance as I do that see it posted, but maybe I didn't dig deep enough. Our NOA1 notice date is November 28th for AOS, AP and EAD. My husband has the Biometrics on December 18th. And we had no RFE. As of January 31st, per the USCIS site, his AOS is "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". It's 2 weeks and nothing was received in the mail. Both the AP and EAD are still saying "Case was recieved" with a date of November 24th. Should I be calling to find out what's going on? It will be 12 weeks (90 days, not including weekends or holiday's) since they accepted our submissions. So many approvals for November submissions, and I feel stuck in "immigration hell". But curious about the "interview" status and not receiving anything about it.

  9. Our appointment is also on the 18th. I was excited at the speed of getting the appointment time. I hope the rest is smooth and fast.
  10. Can anyone post a copy of the cover letter you sent, or a link to where a thorough checklist/cover letter is provided? I keep coming across thing I am missing to send, and its holding up from getting this out of our house and into the mail. Any help is GREATLY appreciated
  11. you asked some good questions. I hope someone can answer them for you so you can continue on. I am just starting my husbands paperwork, so I am of no help
  12. Juarez Consulate Question

We were Cancun, and we went to Juarez in August. It wasn't all too bad. Everything done in 3 days. Just the city itself is crappy and boring.
  13. Ciudad juarez

In July when we made our K1 appointment, it was about 45 days until the next available Interview time. This varies, based on demand, so you can't really base this on others. It could be two weeks...it could be 2 months.
  14. K1 Visa Mexico

My fiancé and I lived in Cancun. We went to Juarez in August for his interview, medical and ASC. Only people that live in the start of Mexico can go to DF for medical and ASC. I think they even need to go to Juarez for their interview.
  15. I REALLY hope not after seeing age differences of 30+ years going through with no problem.
