  1. Hello, If I remember correctly, it wouldn't show the option of replacement card if non-citizen. Citizen account also has social security benefit section.
  2. I logged in again today and found the 'non-citizen' part has disappeared. The page also shows retirement and benefit etc. I guess it has been updated to citizen account.
  3. yeah, I think you are right. For people who applied immigration process, it is recommended to change name after finished the process. Additionally, like you said, it is free to do so at the oath.
  4. Updated today's SSA visit: Just walked in my local SSA office without appointment. Handed them my NC, driver's license, Name change court order, and application. All originals. The officer asked if I changed my name because I got married. I said I just recently got my citizenship. On the oath ceremony, I change my last name to my husband's last name. It seems like she didn't understand the connection between getting a citizenship and name change. She asked for a marriage certificate. I said I married four years ago. I don't have it with me today. She started to work on the screen and checked my documents. I guess a court order suffices. I though they were going to take away my NC until further notice. In the end, they returned all my documents and gave me a receipt. New card will be arrived in two weeks. I checked my online account later the day. My name has been updated, but still showed non-citizen. I'll check again in two weeks.
  5. Expedited with regular post service. Documents: Application form, NC original and name change court order copy. The post office tried to ask for my birth certificate. I said it shouldn't be needed🙄 . She eventually gave up and submitted it. 3/24 - application sent out 3/28 - check cashed. Online status: In process 4/15 - Approved 4/21 - Received NC is not returned yet. Locator: 69
  6. Hi there, I am going through the process myself too. I just received my passport book. Sadly I didn't order a passport card. I am still waiting for my NC to be returned. By going through all the threads here. I am planning to go to my local SSA office and give them the documents: 1. my new passport book 2. name change court order 3. application On the instruction of the form, if your parents don't have SSN number, you can check 'unknown'.
  7. hm...I never ran into this issue. Maybe clean the cookies from the browser? Clean it and restart the browser to see if it helps.
  8. Hello @doggieandsam I just finished my oath three days ago and submitted passport materials to USPS. How long did you wait to get the passport?
  9. I heard I-751 interview could be waived. Congratulation on the new update. Maybe they just needed a little nudge :). Good Luck!
  10. I am very sorry for what you had been through. It could be very frustrating. You don't even have an application number if you wanted to create your USCIS online account. Is it possible to call the customer service to at least get your application number if they had? I was just curious if there was any more information in your account.
  11. Hopefully you still have the post office receipt and the tracking number for the initial shipment. I would add this evidence in an explanation page in your second package.
  12. Hi there, speaking of devil 😄, I just refreshed my USCIS app and got a notification for I-751 approval. haha, I believe we got the notification at the same time!
  13. Hi there, I believe filing N-400 would speed up your I-751 process. If you decide to become a citizen, and you are eligible, I suggest you do so. I only waited half year for my N-400 interview, while I had been waiting I-751 for a year and 6 months. When you were interviewed N-400, they were forced to review your I-751. It is a good way to gain some traction. Also, utilize the 'Message' section on the USCIS website (after you login) to get some update from them.
  14. No, mine is at Norfolk. Same here, the officer said it might be in a month. Hopefully we could hear something soon! Good Luck!
