  • Our Story
When we met it was so obvious that we liked each other. We both was trying really hard not to smile too big and /or say stupid things. Everyone noticed. I was told by an ex-room mate if I needed anything in Cuba to look him up and he would help me. So, before we left the "misa", I passed him a note with my phone number. The next day he showed up and invited me to go out. For being from different countries we shared so much in common. Faith, priorities, likes for entertainment. And I haven't been this happy (he says the same) for many years. Its wonderful that as a older adults you can find someone who makes you feel 16 again. Butterflies and ear to ear smiles. But what really got me was when he took me dancing. Lawd have mercy. We have has a long hard road with immigration but married June 5th, 2017 and know that we will be together soon.

  1. Happily married as of June 05, 2017. Whooohoooo!!!  While we did it at the international notary office, I dressed up in a simple white lace dress with a veil and gloves.  Heck It was my (our) day, and I made it as special as possible.  It was so  awesome and I cant believe how nervous I was.  It was so hard to leave Cuba (him).   It only took 30 days to get the international marriage certificate. I had my HUSBAND (I love that sound) email me it for the packet. My hopes are up again.  I just mailed off the packet for the Cr1 Spouse visa today priority express, to arrive by 10:30 am tomorrow.  With renewed faith, we go forward.
