  1. Just login directly to your online account, you should see the new action. I think the link expired.
  2. Thank everyone that have provided answer that might help the OP. Let me quickly say that it is not our job to presume this couple's situation or adjudicate their case. Not everyone case is the same, not everyone are tech or internet savvy, even if they are not everyone have time or understand the usefulness of a community like this. For example my wife never used this app to ask questions or resolve her concerns though I asked her to create an account, we eventually started using the same account. So in summary we are here to provide support to each other. To the OP question, like many previous response, more context is needed to give you answers that will be more useful to you. Like at what stage are you in your petition? I am not familiar with CR1 interview in Nigeria but I am sure like many have said it is difficult place to be interviewed. There are somethings that are good to have but not necessarily a requirement, a CR1 interview, some of these are ITIN for taxes, children, documents that have you and your spouse names, joint bank/credit account or joint insurance benefits. This is because you don't live in the US yet. Consular officers understand this, they only start asking for these extra documents when they suspect fraud and they are trying double check/cross their T's and giving you the opportunity to prove them wrong. Again note that you still need to prove bonafide marriage, other thoughtful member here have mentioned some of these documents or how to find what you need. Lastly, on your question whether or not you need an affidavit, if your application is still pre NVC stage(that is, have not been approved in the US yet), then it is probably useful to add affidavit not just from your family/friends but also from your spouse family and friends, otherwise I personally think it useless at embassy interview stage. In summary, a bonafide marraige is not difficult to prove because it have all the elements of a bonafide marriage. Marriage is important in Nigeria again the Consular officers understand this too. You will need to show that during your CR1 interview. good luck !
  3. I am sure this is a case by case basis. We were never interviewed in the US before the N-400 interview as I came to the US with CR1 visa. So I can't speak entirely for Minneapolis office, but on the day of the interview there were 3 couples that went before us that their spouses weren't interview at least not separately.
  4. Had my Combo interview today (Minneapolis,MN Office). Lasted for about 30 minutes. Wife was interviewed first for about 5 minutes, then interview took the rest of the time. I was approved. I was asked at least 6 Civic questions(I was surprised he went that far, but all good since I prepared for it). The officer said I should be part of the next Ceremony (in June). So the last wait begins. Good luck to all that are still waiting for both biometric or/and interview appointments.
