We first met at a a BBQ in Playas del Cocos, Costa Rica on February 24, 2005. My father is retired and lives in Costa Rica. He knows has known her aunt and family for 2 years or so. The initial intent of us meeting was so that I would know some people when I returned for future visits. However, when I saw her I was in complete adoration. After I left, my father told me she had the same sentiments.
I returned in May for two weeks and our adoration grew. We fell in love and commited to each other shortly thereafter. Since then, I have returned for 1-2 weeks every 3-4 months to maintain and expand the relationship.
In May 2006 I bought en engagement ring and intended to propose to her on her first trip to Miami. However, her tourist visa was rejected so I flew to Costa Rica and proposed to her on June 29.
Now I am back in the States looking for the best, and most comforatble way, to have her join me here in Miami.
