I met my (now) wife on the beach in Nergil, Jamaica in February 2002. We dated for 12 years. She traveled back and forth at least twice a years since our first encounter. I obtained my visa in 2006 then I began to travel to the US to visit her. This afforded us to see each other 3 to 4 times a year for 1-3 weeks at a time.
After such a long romance we decided to tie the knot (only after my then finance gave me that ultimatum). I came for a visit and for a family Make A Wish vacation in December 2014 to Disney World & a cruise to the Bahamas. This is when she informed me if I returned home it would be the end of our relationship. Not wanting to loose the lady whom I had grown to know and love, I Dec to stay, and make Chicago my home. After 3 months we decided to elope to Las Vegas. On March 5, 2015 we tied the knot. Legally we started our life together as Husband and Wife with 3 of my wife's adopted kid's and Big Baby Bradley (dog) in tow. Together now we live a great life as one big happy family.
Since our wedding date we started our Visa Journey around March 23, 2015. We have completed many steps. We are now awaiting our last step. "The Wonderful, Magical, Illusive, Hard to Come By, Costly GREEN CARD.
I am eager to start a career as a Marine Captain. The opportunity to live the American Dream with my new family is exciting however the cost and the wait can be grueling. I know that when everything falls in place our life together will be wonderful. Never Easy but Worth it, cause I now have my Pretty Baby by my side.
