  1. I filed May 24 Biometrics in August No news since. Expecting it to be sent to Raleigh, NC office.
  2. I have a USCIS online account for a recent citizenship. My wife is filing I-824 (for an approved I-130) and the form is asking if we have a USCIS Online account. I already added her case ID to my account, can I say Yes and use My USCIS online account for her I-130 (she is petitioner for her brother)?
  3. So DQ is for parents interview for visa is what i gather. What's the designation for US Citizen who filed and approved for I-130 for sibling? And any known timeframes for that designation? Thanks in advance
  4. Hi there, i filed I-130 as a citizen for my brother back in 2005, and he was approved in 2009. I moved in between, didnt get the notice, or any other correspondence. How can I find out NVC status? I emailed USCIS a week ago with the USCIS case/recipient # and received confirmation of my brother's I-130 approval, and USCIS said the following below. Question, do I need to pay USCIS $465 to file I-824 "Application for Action on an Approved Application" or can I 'pick-up' with NVC and go from there? Their response: What We Have Done We approved your Form I-130 petition on November 10, 2009, and sent it to the U.S. Department of State National Visa Center (NVC). You will need to inform the NVC in writing of your change of address. You may write to the NVC at: National Visa Center Attn: WC 31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 200 Portsmouth, NH 03801-2915 At a minimum, please include the following: *Copy of the Form I-130 petition approval notice with the name of the beneficiary. If you need a copy of your approval notices, you will need to file Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, with filing fee.
  5. If it does not say it's required, then it's not required. I submitted as additional info, on my own behalf, as additional document. you dont have to.
  6. Update: * I had said that when i login online, "I do not see a copy of my submitted application", and I also said I see an "Unsolicited Evidence" filename "MYRECEIPTNUMBERANDSOMESTUFF-part1.tif", well, evidently that IS my submitted application. I clicked on it, a 24M file was downloaded, and it's one file showing a snapshot of my aunt's GC, but as i scrolled further, it has most everything i mailed into when applying N-400. So, perhaps your "random page of a document", download it, try scrolling through it, see if it's multiple pages of the items you 'mailed' in. * Your second point that you did not get your "receipt notice on my uscis account". But you did get the 'physical letter' in the mail. If you have not already, you can ADD the receipt number on the letter from the mail you received to the online USCIS account. Simply login, click on "My Account" on top left side, and select "Add a paper-filed case" and enter the receipt number.
  7. Hi lscir, I too filed by mail (for my aunt), and when I received the initial letter it was "USCIS Account Access Notice" which I used to register online and entered the Receipt Number. Now when i login online, in the 3rd tab "Documents" I see 3 sections with the following items below. NOTE: I do NOT see a copy of my mailed application, whereas you said you see "a scan of a document I submitted". Was your document your mailed application?: USCIS Notices File Date Sent Action Appointment Scheduled.pdf August 30, 2021 N/A Account Acceptance Notice.pdf June 12, 2021 N/A Your uploads You may upload additional evidence that you believe may assist USCIS in adjudicating your application, even if the evidence was not specifically requested. USCIS will consider the timeliness and relevance of unrequested evidence when making a decision about your case. File Document Date added MYRECEIPTNUMBERANDSOMESTUFF-part1.tif (which is scan of my greencard) Other June 12, 2021 Unsolicited evidence Unsolicited evidence is any additional information or evidence that we did not request from you. If you upload evidence that we did not request from you, USCIS will consider the timeliness and relevance of this information when making a decision about your case. Upload evidence
  8. Hi tomigaoka, I too filed via mail in late May, 24th for my aunt because it was a fee-waiver request application. 6/12/2021 I received the USCIS Account Access Notice 8/30/2021 I received an appointment for Biometrics. My Aunt likely does not have fingerprints on file as she came in the mid-80s (an era when your GC does not expire and confuses some INS folks when they see that version). 9/20/2021 is the Biometric appointment date Came online to compare notes on dates/timelines with other May 2021 filers. And any that filed by mail (yourself) And any that were fee-waiver type And any for any long time GC holder (she applied for N400 in 90s but failed the English and never bothered to re-apply til now).
  9. Congrats Savva! Your joy permeates from the message board, so happy for you. I love the excitement in advanced scheduling at DMV and passport office -> Great Idea! Cheers!
  10. I submitted: * Driver's license/State ID card * Birth Certificate * Passport page (main one) * A cover letter (just stating I applied for N-400 and submitted the following) * Marriage certificate
  11. If it fails the first time, it's likely because your bank denied the transaction. Then call up your bank, let them know there is a transaction coming as you reattempt, and then try a 2nd time.
  12. This was a very helpful post. I'm serving as a "Preparer" non-attorney for an N-400 applicant. And they also meet the 55/15 rule, and are exempt from reading/writing part. They too dont speak English and asked if I would serve as interpreter for them. I said I'll try but I think the local office in Raleigh adheres to distance/limit protocol so I may end up on a call from the car to translate. But this does help ALOT. Thanks!
  13. Same here, Applied N-400 online today 4/24 Later today I see online the "Receipt" notice, followed by the "Bio Reuse" notice. As well as the "processing time is down" message. So it's happening to new applications as of Saturday 4/24/2021
  14. FYI: I used Chrome on my windows 10 PC today to fill N-400, upload docs, I see the docs in the review section, and submitted. Post submission, my USCIS online account shows the docs. No issues encountered.
