I came to the states in 2001 with a tourist visa. I overstayed my visa and in 2003 i was required to register in the government program known as "NSEERS" for all people from middle eastern countries. I received a voluntary departure the same day i registered with the immigration office, "Pre administrative voluntary departure" with a 10 year bar of any immigration benefits.I never left. later on i got married and started my own business, then i started getting to school to finish my engineering bachelor degree i started overseas 12 years. after the 10 years period was over in August 2013 I decided to apply for adjustment of status since the 10 years bar was over! wish me luck everybody!
