  • Our Story
Our covenant...we met on a FB group in Sept. 2012, that we were both in, a faith based group. I was sent a request to be a friend and accepted. We began chatting which later turned into Skype chatting and visuals. We also exchanged emails so that way we could keep in touch with each other and with the ministry work that is taking place in Kenya. At some point I knew we fell in love even though we dare not speak it at this point. This love that we shared was not an emotional love that most of the world have for each other but a love built on principle and God's word. We decided to look at marriage and the seriousness of two people with different cultures joining together. This is a serious commitment that many take lightly. He asked me to court him in Jan 2013, and since then we have committed ourselves to each other through this long difficult process. We have spent a lot of time getting to know each other and taking every opportunity through technology to communicate ie. emails, FB text and chat, Skype text and visuals, and through phone calls. We have been praying and asking God to open a way where we can be married and live together under one roof. God only knows when that time will come. I am encouraged by this promise in Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." We serve an awesome and powerful God! He owns this world and all its riches and I know He will provide just what we need. Patience is what is needed the most. Here is another quote "It sometimes seems hard to wait patiently till God's time comes to vindicate the right. But I have been shown that if we become impatient, we lose a rich reward. As faithful husbandmen in God's great field, we must sow with tears, and be patient and hopeful." {3T 327.2} Thank you for sharing in our Visa Journey!
