Bottom line is why do I have to do a I-130 instead of a follow to join I-824? My wife is a green card holder, her daughter( 9 yo) had a K2 but let it expire and now we want her to come to the states.

What is the best way to get her over here? If it's the I-130 should I as the US Citizen fill it out or my wife? Which is faster out of the Vermont service center?

We just want her with us. I'm going to the PI this month untill march and we would like to get the ball rolling but I want to file whatever paperwork I need before I leave.

My fiancée is a little nervous about what exactly goes on at the SLEC. I have sent her the flowchart of the x-rays, shots, physical etc. If anyone has already under gone this and would mind leeitn me know so i can give her peace of mind we would greatly appreciate it

A question about the processing time graphs?

do the dates represent cases completed on the day in question?

in other words, when a graph says "as of Jan 6, 2008 the average case took 15 days" does that mean that cases completed on Jan 6, 2008 took 15 days on average?

Ten is coming from Neg. Occ. and will bring a 14 y/o girl and a 12 y/o boy.
She will have started 2nd or 3rd year HS now and he will be starting 5th or 6th grade.
What grade level should I expect them to be placed at?

There may also be a 4th year BSRN student with interests in post-grad degree.

wife came over on a k1 and we petitioned her daughter at the same time. Both got their visas and wife decided to leave her daughter home until we got settled down, etc. Ok got the house, good schools in the area and now were ready for her. Now what do we need to do to get her daughter (10 yo) another visa? Wife has her green card.

We are going to the PI this month on vacation and want to get any paperwork filed before we leave.

Since she had a visa already and mom is now an legal resident can we just go to Manila and talk to the embassy and get another visa? Redo the medical and all that or do we have to file some forms stateside first.

Well tomorrow is the day and me and Marivic are nervous she has her interview, and she is going over her papers as I watch her on cam. I pray all goes well it is good i work at night becoz i won't be able to sleep anyway. This process has gone on longer than we expected. What a rude awakening is waiting here with the cold temps and snow here in Pennsylvannia, I am sure she will stay wraped in a afgan all day. Wish us luck and all who are going through the same.
