I recently checked out the USCIS website to see where the Case Status section was located.

 

Yesterday it said, On May 15, 2013, we received this I-129F Petition For Fiance and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case.

 

Today it said, On May 22, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed to your I-129F, Petition For Fiance(e).

 

What exactly does this mean?

 

Plan to schedule now for my interview but have second thoughts because im still waiting for my police clearance from Malaysia.

 

Does anyone here done for interview without the police clearance from Malaysia instead presented the receipt  given from the Malaysian consulate?

 Why at St Lukes are they asking for my fiance's annulment papers? how is that a part of the medical, anyone have any insight please?

I searched the board but didn't get a clear answer on this.

 

I received a message stating that the "Alien Registration Number was changed".

 

I just got my NOA1 on Monday this week, so is this message normal or should I be even happier? :)

 

I can only hope.

 

I'm just sort of confused because I thought this message came much later. Logging in at USCIS tells me nothing new.

I know it's kind of a simple question but I just wanna ask if I can use BLUE Ink to sign some of the forms?? Would it matter?? Or do I only need to use BLACK ink?? ('coz when I signed with black ink, my signature looks like photocopied haha!)

I'm currently holding a non-immigrant visa sec 9G which was provided by my company.

 

I've been abroad last September and had to paid a special tax, it was like 2000+ pesos including the 750.00 pesos.

 

I'm reading many topics about this ECC (exit clearance) or Emigrant clearance certificate which is needed for tourist who stayed in the philippines more than 6 months.

 

But it looks like foreigners who are holding some special visas can get the ECC at NAIA aiport by paying the fees ( I guess it what happened to me last time)

 

So I would like someone confirm to me that is it still the same rule about the ECC for my kind of visa ?

yesterday my case  status UNder administrative,processing  and now my fiance called me it say  my case status it change finally visa issued  thank you  lord ,,,,,,

Today is the lucky day!  My wife has boarded the plane in japan and will be heading to Detroit for POE around 1:40pm EST today.  Cant tell you how excited I am, now if only delta will allow me to meet her at the gate.  I know we are far from being to the end of this journey but at least the most stressful part(being long-distance) will be completed.  Just wanted to say thanks for all the advise I've gotten in my post(or from the posts of others).  It made this process a lot more bearable knowing things should go smoothly(well minus the AoS issue).  I'm sure I'll be checking in often anyways to help others or when the next process will begin.

I would like to ask about tourist visa. I have a cousin in the Philippines that i want to bring here in USA with a tourist visa. I will be the one who will file for her here in USA and i'm going to finance all the expenses so my question is,

 

is it okay for me to apply for my cousin or she should be the one?

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.
