US Immigration from China

Hello - my partner and I are currently in the process of waiting for an interview invite from the NVC. We have been approved up until this step. We did some research and found that sometimes there can be delays if a W2 or 1099 form is not present for the interview.

For financial documentation - I do not currently make enough so my father is co-sponsoring me. For financial documentation, we have uploaded our previous tax returns as well as IRS reports. However, since my dad is self-employed, he does not have a W2 or 1099 form.

Prior to NVC approving our information, they asked for my father's W2 and 1099 form. I reached out to his accountant and they provided a form that said that my father does not have a W2 and 1099, and instead he only has a Schedule E.

For the interview, what should we bring to make sure that there are no delays in the processing? Is the form (on official letterhead) from his accountant enough? Or should we provide something else?

My GC expired this September. With my parents visiting us this winter, I want to bring them to Cancun for a few days.

I have only realized that MX does not recognize my GC extension letter and I will need a visa to enter after I booked the entire trip. I am not against getting a MX visa but it is pretty much impossible to schedule an interview with them.

I have an old B1/B2 visa that is still within valid date, however, in my understanding this visa is voided since I was granted my LPR status.

I am wondering if I can enter MX with this B1/B2 visa since there is no void stamp on it. I am hoping that Mexican border control would not see my US status if they check my visa number. I have been to Mexico once with my previous GC tho.

Usually I would just go there and try out, but I really do not want to leave my non-English speaking parents on their own in Mexico while I being deported back to NY.

Do we need to prepare two separate I-134s for K1 and K2? Thanks.

My daughter and I are applying for K1/K2 and should get the visas soon. I have two questions. First, will her current F1 visa be canceled after getting K2? She is 19 years old and studying in the US now. Second, can she go to the US with K2 alone after I go in first? Can we get separate packages for entry to the US customs? Thanks!
