  • Our Story
Daniel and I initially met in March of 1980 in high school. I was a foreign exchange student to Santiago Chile and we both attended Academia de Humanidades high school in Santiago Chile. We dated for the year I was in Chile and were separated when I returned to the United States. Daniel attempted to contact me through my school and consequently my mother but my mother didn't pass on the messages because I returned from Chile as a grown-up and no longer her little girl. Mother was not happy with me returning an adult.
We never forgot each other. Daniel continued with his life, married and had 2 children. I got married and divorced. After Daniel and his wife separated about 5 years ago he began looking for me and eventually found me via Classmates.com. I was in the mid 40's and after my divorce had resigned to never marrying again. However Daniel is one in a million and I am the luckiest woman alive! We reconnected in July 2009 just prior to my employer closing my department and laying me off with 4 months severance pay. This enabled me to travel to Santiago Chile for over 2 months so we could get to know each other. We are very anxious to start living our ife together after almost 30 years separate and thank God for second chances.
