We were set up on a blind date through a mutual friend. I am much older than Abi, but here it is, almost 8 years later, after getting married, and we are still making it work. I am 19 years older than her. The age difference has not affected us as much as coming from two different cultures.
We have been together for about 14 years now. At the beginning, we fought like crazy. I even had thoughts of leaving. I am happy that I did not.
