On September 24th, 2004 Elvira first wrote to me. We clicked right away, and just 35 days later, on October 29th, we were together in Moscow and well on our way to falling deeply in love with each other. After several days with her brother and his family in Moscow we went to her home town Ufa by train. The train ride was as romantic and memorable as could be, for both of us. The next days in Ufa were filled with the most amazing happiness and love. Leaving her in Ufa was so very hard. It all had happened so fast that I waited a while before beginning the visa process, but there never really was any doubt, a feeling that has only grown stronger with the passage of time.
