  • Our Story
Olga and I met online in September 2008. Our first meeting in Moscow was in April 2009. The weather was a bit chilly; but our relations were warm. :) In June 2009, I spent a week in Moscow with Olga and her son. We discussed marriage during this visit.

In January, I filed the I-129F with the Vermont service center. Due to the winter snow storms, Vermont is a little backed up. We were expecting NOA2 results sometime around April 9th, but it seems that April 24 - May 10 is more realistic.

All paperwork and documentation for the K1 & K2 visas are ready to go! So, now we patiently wait...

April 27, 2010 - Received SMS at 6:17AM advising of I-129F status change. USICS web site shows I-129F approved, with NOA2 date of 4/26/2010.

April 30, 2010 - NVC received file. File electronically sent to Moscow.

    May 1, 2010 - NVC letter. May 6, 2010, received NVC letter.

May 7, 2010 - Faxed letter to Congressman, requesting expedited interview.

May 13, 2010 - Emailed Moscow Consulate asking, "Wazzup?" :)

    May 18, 2010 - Email from Embassy, interview on July 6, at 10:00AM. :))

June 3, 2010 - Packet 3/4 from Moscow Embassy received.

June 8, 2010 - Olga & son have medical exam at IOM.

July 6, 2010 - Good interview experience at Moscow Consulate: K1 & K2 visas approved.

July 12, 2010 - We picked up the DHL package, containing the visas and interview envelopes, at the Tver DHL office.

July 16, 2010 - POE Atlanta. ICE was cool. :) No problems.

    October 13, 2010 - Olga and I were married.

    September 29, 2011 - I485+I765 for Olga. I485 for Kirill.

    December 8, 2011 - I765 approved.

February 28, 2012 - I485 approved and document production for Olga.

    January 14, 2014 - I-751 for Olga and Kirill.
