    We met online in a Christian chat room in 2006, and married in the Philippines on my first and only visit there in January 2008. She was an elementary school teacher, and then the youngest principal EVER in the Philippines. She gave it all up to come be with me at age 34. She became a naturalized US Citizen right after Basic Training for the Air Force Tennssee Air National Guard in 2013. Now she has become a Registered Nurse (RN), and an active duty USAF officer (Captain). I am proud of her. She now has a very good second career after giving up a very good career in the Philippines to join me. We have a beautiful and intelligent 12 year old son who is homeschooled by me. He is learning mixed martial arts, is a member of the Civil Air Patrol, and has ambitions to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy.

    Just recently we found out we are going to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Anchorage, Alaska. We also came to Germany in 2019. But we still managed to see sooo much in spite of COVID. My family and I are ready for a change. My son forgets most things about America, and he wants to experience that too. He is looking forward to the snow in Anchorage

    We have traveled a lot. I was here for 5 years when active Army before. Four years this time as a dependent. We are looking forward to change though, as our PCS approaches in July. Don't have orders yet though. My wife works at the Army hospital here. I homeschool our son, and will do so for one more year, until he goes to high school. But I am very happy to live each day around the military again. It feels like home to me.

    Life is moving along after 14 years post-VisaJourney. My wife from the Philippines is a Captain in the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps. We are stationed in Germany. Our son is in Civil Air Patrol on base, and was just promoted to Cadet Airman First Class. My wife pinned his rank on him. He wants to get selected to the Air Force Academy in a few years and become a fighter pilot. Life is good, especially since I was active duty Army, and now my family keeps me connected to the military to the end of my days.

    Yes, correct. And those likewise were amazing successes. But this is picking up where we left off, with completely new technology that requires extensive testing, and the first steps to not only visiting the moon, but also living and working there. And then beyond, to Mars. It is a pitty that we did not continue on, 50 years ago.

    I am very happy for the successful launch of Artemis I, and the successful recovery of the Orion capsule. It is something that we all can take pride in. Oh, I am sure that someone out there can pooh pooh on it, somehow. But I think MOST people would be very happy with the success of this mission. I am so tired of the divisions in our great nation. For me and my family, this successful mission seems something we can all celebrate together. Including our allies, such as Germany, the European Union, who provided the very successful service module! What a great day in history.

    Frankly, I'm tired of the Trump drama, and just want a Conservative to run who will get down to the business of fixing the border, military, and economy without a ton of drama. I liked Trump's ideas, but not the childish drama, which just played into the hands of other childish people that further mucked up the waters

    Is she already in the military? If so, she can have her citizenship expedited as a service member. My wife went in the Air National Guard before becoming a U.S. citizen, but was only eligible for non-security jobs. She got her U.S. citizenship right after Basic Training, but she stayed in her same Guard job for 6 years. After she got out of the Guard, she received an active duty direct commission as an officer in the Air Force Nurse Corps. She is now a Captain, with a Secret clearance. We are currently in Germany, awaiting word of where we will be assigned next in 8 months from now.

    Pin them down, Take them away; Lock them up and Make them pay. That's my common sense solution. But no one seems to see the reason in common sense these days.

    What great things? ?? Did I miss something again? He is flushing the country down the sewer, that's all I am aware he has done! I don't have much confidence we can rebound from the harm he has done and is doing

    Try to ban ME anywhere I have a legal right to go, where I would care to go. And I sure wouldn't want to go there. But who would want to go near a cesspool like Berkeley?

    My question now is, what will happen after she leaves? If China takes harsh action against Taiwan after this, I really don't believe Biden will honor his promise to defend them. My wife feels we shouldn't get involved. I guess I tend to agree, unless our allies are in danger, such as the Philippines, South Korea or Japan. That's my gut feeling, I guess. But then we never should have made a promise to Taiwan, in that case, that we had no intention to keep, if we do nothing
